One of the greatest joys I have had this year as a photographer has been being invited to document the new stages of life for previous clients. While I have always photographed newborn & family photography, this year I have found a renewed joy and purpose in this work and it was been wonderful to capture these seasons of life for some amazing families!!

Andy & Liz were married four years ago (you can view their gorgeous Turner Hill wedding here) and just recently welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world. I had the honor of visiting them at home and capturing them together, in all the newness and joy that they were experience as first time parents.

I left their session filled to the brim and reminded that what we do as photographers is important. While that might seem cliche I truly believe that photographs are more important than ever. The images are a powerful reminder of the beautiful legacy a family builds together. And I am proud to carry on that work.
