So, I've been a blog stalker of Jamie Delaine for like, ever. And ever being a few years. I remember finding her and being astonished at how young but amazingly successful and talented she was. Oh and she's super fun and has amazing fashion sense. I met her for all of five seconds at WPPI this year and like a blog stalker crazy person, snapped a photo with her and Melissa Jill. I thought I might pass out, how I love those two.

Fast forward a bit, to the present and I recently found out that creativity bug doesn't just end with Jamie. Her brother, Brandon, is also super talented and has started a new design company, The Album Design. I knew immediately that I had to hire him to create a wedding album for my recent couple, Amy and Salim. Take a look below at their awesome album design. Simple and elegant. A perfect fit for this modern couple. (design courtesy of Brandon, pretty please don't copy)

As Deborah Zoe Photo has continually grown over this past year, I've had to really look at my business from a global perspective. While, at times it is hard for me to release control over certain areas of my business, I know that it is necessary in order for my business to grow. This is a lesson that, many photographers (The Youngrens, Dane Sanders, Justin and Mary , and more) have shared as they have grown their businesses over the years.  I am not a designer and I felt that album design was one of the things that I should outsource to a graphic designer. I want to offer the absolute best quality to my clients and felt that someone else with design talent could fit that role.

Enter, The Album Design. I couldn't be happier with the decision I made to work with Brandon. His design sense is a perfect compliment to the look and feel of Deborah Zoe Photo. Photogs, if you are looking for a album designer (he also does post processing) contact him today!

So moral of the story? If there is one thing in your business that you feel comfortable handing control over, do it. Your business will thank you, your clients will thank you and most of all your sanity will thank you ;)
