Behind the Scenes of 2012

I can hardly believe that I am almost half way through my 2012 wedding season! Often times I feel like I am right there with my Brides, anticipating the wedding, planning the little details and preparing for the big day. The wedding day is always such a blur and comes faster than I can ever anticipate for. And while I do get to "relive" the day again and again as I edit and prepare the images for my couples, I can't help but be a little sad that the day is over.

That's why I'm so grateful for photographs. They help us remember life as it flashes by. They capture experiences that we sometimes forget. They help us keep our life still, even if just for a moment.

Throughout this past season my second photographers have taken a few images of me at work. And just like my couples, who count on me to capture their day, I'm so grateful for the ladies who stole a few pictures of me doing what I love.
