Harrison Turns One
People ask me ALL the time if I shoot portraits. And well the answer is yes and no. I don't advertise that I photograph portraits, as my focus lies in weddings and engagements. But I never pass down an opportunity to photograph friends and past clients! Documenting life is so incredibly important and I am happy to play a small part in that beyond just the wedding day!
So when Erin asked if I'd photograph her little family of three I was delighted! I mean who can resist that bundle of cuteness Harrison? And of course I understood how Erin feels! She's a photographer too and most of the time she is behind the camera, never in front. And yes, even us photographers want to be in front of the camera SOME times....especially if it means we can photographs with the family that we love!

This past weekend in a haze of snow I trucked down to the Chapman's house and hung out with Erin, Jeremy and little Harrison for the afternoon! It was a very casual time together but one that represents their life as a family so well. This little nugget is their pride and joy. And it was completely evident on Saturday just how much Erin and Jeremy love their son! I still can't believe that Harrison is one already but what a handsome boy he has become! Enjoy!
