Abby and Joe chose Newport to host their wedding, sharing with their guests the best of what Newport and New England has to offer. The couple fell in love with the contemporary beauty of Belle Mer, with it’s manicured lawns and sweeping views of Narragansett Bay. Abbie and Joe especially loved that their guests could move effortlessly from inside to out while enjoying cocktails on the back lawn or kicking their feet up at the fire pit later into the evening.
With the summer crowds slowly fading away, September felt like the perfect fit for their Newport wedding. One a perfect fall afternoon, Abby and Joe joyously exited the doors of their church, reenacting in their own way, the same exit that JFK and Jackie Kennedy had done on their wedding day. With huge smiles and a joy that cannot be contained, that moment for me epitomizes everything their day was about.
