Kris & Christi were determined to wed, not matter what 2020 had in store. They were one of our few couples who bravely planned a wedding in the height of the Covid 2020 crisis. They safely hosted their wedding selecting the sunken Rose Garden at Lynch Park and the wooded venue of Moraine Farm to celebrate.
From getting ready to their reception, they soaked in every moment, knowing just how lucky they were to be getting married, especially in 2020. While their day might have been smaller in size than a “typical” wedding day, each moment felt special, filled with appreciation and celebration. That’s one of my favorite things about the 2020 wedding season - the gratitude and joy each couple experienced and shared with their loved ones. It may have looked different but it was in no way any less special or perfect.
Both teachers, Kris & Christi infused their day with subtle nods to their jobs. From the place cards a la desk name plates to their transportation in the form of a school bus, each detail was a playful nod their careers and love of education.
Kris & Christi’s wedding day was perfectly photographed by associate photographer Lauren. She was the perfect fit for their day, beautifully capturing how special this day (and this couple) were and are. I’m thrilled to share it with you!
