What would 2020 be without postponed wedding plans? Well that was sure true for Arielle & Jon who had to push their celebration to the fall of 2021. But despite the craziness of last year they were determined to get married and so in a very small celebration at Misselwood Estate in Beverly, Massachusetts they tied the knot.
And of course it wouldn’t be 2020 without a major curve ball on your rescheduled, scaled down wedding day right? Arielle and Jon had originally planned to hold their ceremony on the back lawn of Misselwood Estate which features sweeping views of the coastline. It’s quite beautiful and dramatic and one of the reasons many couples choose to marry at the estate.
But of course Mother Nature had other plans and as the ceremony start time approached the skies opened up and didn’t stop raining well into the evening.
Because of Covid restrictions Arielle and Jon couldn’t move their ceremony into the mansion and meant we had to think quick on our feet to find a solution. Someone suggested the overhang of the venue tent and voila, instant ceremony location! Everyone could remain outside, distance and these two could get married without the soaking.
And like most things that had to pivot last year, Arielle and Jon didn’t miss a beat. They took everything in stride and simply let go, enjoying each moment they had with each other and their loved ones. As a photographer was a challenge but well worth seeing just how happy and overjoyed these two were to get married.
