Am I allowed to have favorites? Shh, I’ll tell you a secret : Mateusz and Brittany’s engagement session was one of my top fave sessions of 2020! I absolutely loved hanging out with this amazing couple in downtown Newburyport and enjoying beautiful sun kissed evening together.
On this particular night we were greeted with the most epic of sunsets, the kind that stops you in your tracks and reminds you what summer nights are made for - and Newburyport’s harbor walk was the perfect spot to enjoy Mother Nature’s show in the sky.
Usually the first time I meet couples in person is for their engagement session and this was the case for Brit & Mateusz. As in introvert, sometimes this can be the hardest part of my job, meeting new people and wondering how we’ll connect. But immediately these two put my worries to rest with their friendly, outgoing and warm personalities. Even more sweet is the way they are together, clearly in love, with a deep respect and strong friendship together.
Brit is a girl after my own heart, she loves some statement fashion and an excuse to get dressed up. I absolutely adored her beautiful yellow pleated dress that twirled perfectly on camera. And you better believe I loved how much Mateusz LOVED to twirl Brit in it! And don’t get me started on her gorgeous shoe selections…
I can’t wait to see what they’ve got planned for their wedding in August - if it’s anything like their engagement session, I know it will be one for the books! And working with Kate of Kate Murtaugh Events, it will be nothing short of spectacular!
