I hadn't met Dave and Lindsey until their engagement session in Ogunquit last weekend. They were little nervous to be in front of the camera, and who can blame them? An excitable red head behind a big camera yelling things like YES! or DO IT AGAIN! can be pretty intimidating. But by the second or third frame these two were naturals. Wrapped in each others arms, consumed with one another, they effortlessly posed and played for the camera. In the end, there is no right or wrong when it comes to where your hands should go or your heads. All that matters is each other and being free to be yourselves. Dave and Lindsey did just that:)

We spent the afternoon walking through Perkins Cove and exploring the Marginal Way. It was a great day, with clear blue skies and a cool breeze blowing off of the water. (You would never have known that the weekend before we had several inches of snow!) Ogunquit is a special place to these guys as this is where Dave popped the question. We even made it to the exact spot where he asked Lindsey to be his wife. How special is it to have images from your engagement at the spot where you got engaged?! Love:)

We had a great afternoon with each other and I am so excited for their wedding next June. And while we all have to wait seven more months for that at least we can swoon over their engagement pictures until then! Enjoy:)

Steve & Sarah's York Beach Engagement

As a photographer, I want is to make genuine images of happy couples in love. Images that truly speak to each couple and document the special relationship each pair has. But often times couples can get intimidated by the camera and suddenly that relationship disappears, replaced with two anxious people in front of a camera.But that wasn't the case with Steve and Sarah. As we walked the streets and beaches of York, Maine (in the POURING rain mind you) they stayed wrapped in each other arms. They cared more about what was happening with each other than anything else; this photographer's dream. I had so much fun capturing the love between Sarah and Steve, rain drops and all. Who knew that rain could be so sexy or fun? We'll, now you do. Enjoy!

It's been engagement bonanza around these parts! I can't wait to share them all with you here. For now here's sneak peek at Mike and Kate's engagement session at Lynch Park in Beverly. It was surreal being here as this was one of my old stomping grounds when I worked for The Salem News, not to mention that I grew up coming to this park every summer! Alex & Debs' Engagement in Ogunquit, Maine

qDebs and Alex love coming to Ogunquit, Maine, so it was only fitting that they had their engagement session in this quaint beach side town. Despite ominous looking clouds, the rain held off and we spent a beautiful, albeit windy, afternoon walking the coast line together. For this gorgeous couple, August can not come soon enough, the beginning of the rest of their lives together. Debs and Alex, I cannot wait to document your big day! If your engagement session is proof of anything, my camera will explode with hotness :) Enjoy!
