Packaging Bliss
At Christmas one of my favorite things is seeing presents under the tree, in particular presents from my Aunt. Her's are by far the prettiest wrapped presents I have ever seen. Ornate ribbon, musical cards, sparkly wrapping paper. They are almost too pretty to open, almost ;). As a kid I was allowed to open one present on Christmas Eve and inevitably I would go for the prettiest package under the tree, a present from Auntin.
You see, pretty packaging matters! It makes us feel special and celebrated. It's a joy to open a beautifully wrapped package, carefully unwrapping the precious ribbon and paper. Often it doesn't matter what could be inside, the experience of opening the package is enough!
When it came time to look into packaging for my new brand, I knew that I wanted packaging that created an experience, much like my Aunt's presents at Christmas. I wanted my clients to be excited and overjoyed, I mean who doesn't love getting a package in the mail?! I wanted them to have an experience as they opened the box to slowly discover their images inside.
But how do you package such an industrial item such as a thumb drive? It's not as easy as it looks! But thanks to some wonderful vendors I was able to put together a package that I am delighted to deliver to my clients! The response has been exactly what I had imagined, excitement! I've had a lot of questions about where I sourced my items, so I thought I'd share what I give to my clients and where I found the items! If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below!
Happy Packaging!
