I cried for the first time while shooting a wedding this past Saturday. I'm usually good at holding it all together but as Jamie danced with his Mom and she beamed from ear to ear I couldn't help but be caught up in that moment. There was just something so emotionally pure about how joyful Jamie's mom was to be dancing with her son on his wedding day. Or when Christy's Dad had his voice break as he recounted meeting his daughter for the first time, staring out of the window at the place it all happened. Both families so incredibly happy to see their babies marrying the one they had waited their whole life for.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Jamie and Christy in downtown Boston. I was incredibly honored to be a part of such an amazing day, one filled with so much tradition, family history and love. Jamie and Christy, I'm so sorry if there is a blubbering photographer on your video, but know just how powerful the love of your family is. I hope that you cherish that for years to come!! Happy Honeymoon and enjoy your images!! Magnet Street created these adorable stationary pieces that reflected the couple's love for the city of Boston!
I loved the simple but elegant bridal bouquets created by Bunker Hill Florist.Christy wore a lovely lace detailed Casablanca gown from Pure Bliss Bridal Salon.
Thank you Loxx by Justine for Christy's bridal look!!
Christy and Jamie were married at Saint Mary's Church in Charlestown, a church very important to Christy's family.
Many thanks to Kenny's Coach for transporting the Bridal Party around in style (and for gracefully maneuvering the tiny streets of Boston in a trolley!)
Mystique rocked the reception and performed live hits keeping everyone, and I mean everyone, on the dance floor.
The team from Memories in High Def were a great addition to the wedding day coverage and we loved working with them!
