I don't know about you but this past Friday I enjoyed some Black Friday shopping. After five years of always working on Thanksgiving and Black Friday I was determined to enjoy some good deals and crazy crowds. And while I wasn't up with the masses at 4am, I did managed to score some great deals and knock off a good chunk of the Christmas shopping list!

Have you noticed that weekend after Thanksgiving has turned into a shop until you drop multi day event? First there was Black Friday, then there was Cyber Monday. And now there is Small Business Saturday. And I couldn't be more excited about this new tradition! What better way to support the local economy than dedicating a day just for small businesses! After spending the day at the mall yesterday, choosing to shop small is a refreshing option in shopping season dedicated to large business!
