The End of 2011 | A Thank You From Me To You

If you had asked me what I envisioned for the coming year in January of 2011 I wouldn't have even been able to come close to what this year has been. The people, the events, the places traveled, it's been overwhelming to take a look back at these past months. Thank you for being part of such a wonderful year. For allowing me to be a part of your lives, for sharing a little bit of who you are and for giving me permission to live out my dreams. Without you, none of this would be possible! I'm so grateful for each moment experienced this past year and I eagerly await what 2012 will bring!

Shop Small on Small Business Saturday!

I don't know about you but this past Friday I enjoyed some Black Friday shopping. After five years of always working on Thanksgiving and Black Friday I was determined to enjoy some good deals and crazy crowds. And while I wasn't up with the masses at 4am, I did managed to score some great deals and knock off a good chunk of the Christmas shopping list!

Have you noticed that weekend after Thanksgiving has turned into a shop until you drop multi day event? First there was Black Friday, then there was Cyber Monday. And now there is Small Business Saturday. And I couldn't be more excited about this new tradition! What better way to support the local economy than dedicating a day just for small businesses! After spending the day at the mall yesterday, choosing to shop small is a refreshing option in shopping season dedicated to large business!
