Summer Wedding at Turner Hill with Prepped & Primped

Matt & Katie’s North Shore wedding was one for the books - on a perfect summer day they finally tied the knot in a personal ceremony in Marblehead, after waiting over two years for the moment to arrive. Thanks to the pandemic, their original plans had to be postponed but when the day finally came, Matt and Katie along with their loved ones, were beyond ready to celebrate this special couple.

Lovers of golf, they selected Turner Hill for is historic and charming estate nestled amongst on of the best golf courses on the North Shore. They leaned heavily into a classic & timeless style with preppy, nautical touches throughout, tying back to the coastal vibe of the North Shore.

For me, the BEST part of their day with the endless smiles. From the moment the day began to the final song on the dance floor, Matt & Katie could not keep their joy contained. Their warm and inviting personalities ensured everyone felt at ease and ready to celebrate, making sure each person who attended felt loved. They embraced their day with unreserved joy and appreciation.

Amanda & Derek married at the Mansion on Turner Hill last summer during an August heat wave. Drawn to the historic charm and beauty of Turner Hill, Amanda & Derek were thrilled to introduce their guests to this gorgeous property. A black tie affair accented with greens and whites, Derek & Amanda’s day was a classic soiree in every way. Mansion on Turner Hill Wedding | Maggie & Jack

Overlooking the Mansion on Turner Hill, Maggie got ready at her parents’ home, a place filled with meaning and memories for the Bride. White puffy clouds filled the bright summer sky and the heat of the July warmed the air. It was a quintessential New England summer day, just what Maggie & Jack envisioned for their wedding (albeit maybe not the humidity)!! With a quick ride down the hill, Maggie and Jack where ready to start their celebration. With their ceremony held in the garden and their reception under the tent in the courtyard, it was a perfect event from start to finish. Enjoy some of my favorites!!

Engagement Session at Greenwood Farm, Ipswich

As we walked Greenwood Farm in Ipswich, both Jenny and exclaimed that it felt like were walking onto the set of Anne of Green Gables. And by pure chance I edited their images watching the new Netflix version, Anne with an E - and I have to say it really did feel as though we were in Avonlea!

Jenny and Bradley are both dancers and my hope was that their engagement session felt fresh, light and hinted at their creative and artistic backgrounds. (Plus add in some romance too ;)) We spent an amazing evening exploring Greenwood Farm, a place filled with rustic charm and natural beauty. It truly felt magical.

Bradley & Jenny, I cannot wait to celebrate with you this weekend as you say "I Do!" Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement!!

Crane Estate Engagement Session

On a overcast spring afternoon I met with Maggie and Jack at the beautiful Crane Estate for their engagement session. Maggie and Jack will be getting married next year at an estate in Ipswich and so they wanted their engagement session to reflect the the history and beachy feel of this seaside town. The Crane Estate is sprawling with tremendous views in almost every direction. It was a treat to explore the beautiful property with Maggie and Jack and admire the lovely architectural details and beauty of this place.

Just down the street is one of my favorite places, Crane Beach. After a quick outfit change we headed to the beach for a more relaxed vibe. Snuggled up in sweaters, Maggie and Jack enjoyed the nearly empty beach and bravely dipped their toes in the chilly Atlantic waters!! The overcast skies, empty beach and these two made for a romantic ending to a beautiful session!!

Crane Beach Engagement Session in Ipswich

These two brave souls met me on a cold early fall morning for their engagement session at Crane Beach in Ipswich. Crane Beach is one of my favorite places on earth and it was joy to share this special spot with Kirsten & Paul!! We met just as the sun was rising above the horizon and were greeted by an empty beach -- the ocean was still, the sand was smooth, it was a peaceful start to a beautiful engagement session!! Enjoy some of my favorites!!
