I first met this sweet family when their littlest was 6 months old. We spent a chilly December morning in their Boston townhouse capturing a lifestyle session of their family, adjusting to life with a growing baby and learning all about this sweet girl that had entered their life six months earlier.

Hyannisport Club Wedding
Hayley & James had one of those wedding days that dreams are made of. It was the perfect day on the Cape with clear blue skies, puffy white clouds, exactly what they had dreamed of when they chose a summer wedding on Cape Cod at the Hyannisport Club. The day was perfectly accented with a classic palette of creams and dusty blues and subtle nods to the coastal location of their wedding.

Rachael & Matt chose the beautiful Crane Estate for their wedding earlier this fall. As the sun slowly set on the Grande AllΓ©e, surrounded by their family and friends, they said their vows. Overlooking the Mansion on Turner Hill, Maggie got ready at her parentsβ home, a place filled with meaning and memories for the Bride. With a quick ride down the hill, Maggie and Jack where ready to start their celebration. With their ceremony held in the garden and their reception under the tent in the courtyard, it was a perfect event from start to finish. Enjoy some of my favorites!!

On a beautiful summer evening I met with Laura and Brendan for their engagement session in downtown Newburyport. The city bustled with people out enjoying the glorious evening. As the sun set it gave a pink hue to the sky and created the most romantic backdrop for these two lovebirds. Newburyport never disappoints and is one of my favorite places for engagement sessions.
Sweet, simple and joyful is how I would describe Laure & Brendan's relationship. They love to laugh together and never take things too seriously meaning that their session was full for smiles and lots of love. Oh and gelato, we cant forget the gelato!! I can't wait to celebrate with these two later this fall!!

It was such fun to enjoy the sunrise together and I couldn't help but smile watching these two together. They have a quiet kind of love that is sweet, simple and perfect. I knew from our initial meeting together that Jared & Willoughby were going to plan an incredible wedding day, beginning with the location for their celebration. Hosted on Willoughby's family farm, Jared & Will thoughtfully planned their wedding to emphasize and celebrate the beautiful location and the natural beauty that encompassed the area, something very important to them. They also wanted to ensure that their guests were given a meaningful and memorable experience. Working with the amazing team at Chive Events they pulled together a breathtaking celebration that focused on sustainable and locally sourced details. From the florals to the the food and even the wine served throughout the day, each detail was thoughtfully and carefully chosen for a specific reason.
That is the kind of people Jared & Willoughby are. A couple who are independent and unique in their own right and together bring a sense of purpose and authenticity to whatever situation they are in. I greatly appreciated the thought and care they placed on their wedding day and how they communicated to their guests what this day meant to them as a couple. It was a day to celebrate and bring together their families and loved ones and honor their respective family heritage.
For example, Willoughby wore a family heirloom, her wedding gown. She was the 12th Bride to wear the beautiful gown that has been passed down through the generations from the 19th century. Jared excitedly and ceremoniously cut the wedding cake with a family sword. Willoughby's parents hosted the event on their farm, a piece of property that has been in the family for generations. How meaningful to have so many pieces of family history!!
Willoughby & Jared, thank you for entrusting us to document this special day -- it was incredible!! Enjoy some of my favorite images!!

Lauren & Mike had a quintessential New England summer day for their wedding at Misselwood Estate earlier this month. Not a cloud in the sky with a cool breeze that drifted off the water's edge. Lauren and Mike had planned their wedding from Virginia and with the help of Lauren's Mom, every detail came together perfectly on the day of their wedding.
Misselwood Estate is a special place - tucked away on the coast of Beverly it offers spectacular views of Beverly and Salem Harbor and the coastline of Marblehead. For these two, the ocean plays a big part in their relationship and lives (they even named their dog Salty, love it!), so being right on the water was the perfect setting for their wedding. Plus it was a wonderful introduction to New England for their out of state guests.
Lauren & Mike, thank you for inviting my team to be a part of your incredible day. We loved celebrating with you and your loved ones and I hope that these images will serve as precious memories to you in the years to come!! Enjoy some of my favorites!!

Jenny & Bradley desired to throw a garden inspired wedding day full of whimsical charm. From the hand made "bunny garden" that held their escort cards to their palette of light blue and pink pastels, their day felt like a fairytale set amongst the beautiful wooded estate of Moraine Farm.
Jenny & Bradley are both dancers, each with their own unique artistic abilities and talents. They thoughtfully incorporated their love of dance and art into the day through subtle ways, including their beautifully choreographed first dance.
Jenny & Bradley, thank you for including us in your spectacular day!! Enjoy my favorite images of the day!!

As we walked Greenwood Farm in Ipswich, both Jenny and exclaimed that it felt like were walking onto the set of Anne of Green Gables. And by pure chance I edited their images watching the new Netflix version, Anne with an E - and I have to say it really did feel as though we were in Avonlea!
Jenny and Bradley are both dancers and my hope was that their engagement session felt fresh, light and hinted at their creative and artistic backgrounds. (Plus add in some romance too ;)) We spent an amazing evening exploring Greenwood Farm, a place filled with rustic charm and natural beauty. It truly felt magical.
Bradley & Jenny, I cannot wait to celebrate with you this weekend as you say "I Do!" Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement!!

On a blustry spring evening I met with Callie and Jimmy in the harbor town of Rockport, one of my favorite spots on the North Shore. On a typical summer evening Bearskin Neck is a bustling area with tourists and shops and restaurants. But on this early spring evening everything was quiet and we had much of the area to ourselves. The ocean was active with waves crashing against the breakwater making for a dramatic backdrop for Callie and Jimmy's session!!
Jimmy & Callie will be getting married on the Cape later this year and desired their engagement session to reflect a seaside feel. Rockport was the perfect setting!! Callie & Jimmy, I can't wait to celebrate with you two in just a few short months!!

Elissa & Scott just moved back to the Boston area after living in the south for the past few years. It's been a transition Elissa has looked for to for some time (hello four seasons!!) so when it came time to plan their engagement session, she knew the perfect spot : her Mom's backyard!! The location is sentimental to Elissa but also represents the start of their new life here in New England. Scott & Elissa brought music and a bottle of champagne to celebrate and I loved how personal and relaxed their session felt -- the perfect fit for this easygoing couple!!
Elissa & Scott are a photographer's dream, they completely trusted me to capture their relationship and gave me a chance to experiment and try things I don't normally do (like making my couple run through a field a million times :-P) just to get a different kind of image.
Elissa & Scott will be getting married next summer at Moraine Farm on Boston's North Shore and I couldn't be more excited to capture their gorgeous wedding!! Enjoy their rustic & charming New England engagement session (and don't miss Elissa's GORGEOUS ring!!)

I've known Jessie and Will since high school, high school sweet hearts -- the couple everyone loved to love. Jessie was fiery and extroverted, Will, a quiet and calming force. Soon their love multiplied -- First came Audrey, then Oliver then Ellis and now sweet Evelyn. What an honor it has been to bare witness to Will and Jessie's love story, from high school sweethearts to wonderful and joy filled parents.

It has been a dream of mine to visit Nantucket Island. I've lived in Massachusetts my whole life and yet had never visited this coastal oasis. When our good friends shared they would visit the East Coast in May we decided now would be the perfect time to make the trek to Nantucket!
I wasn't prepared for just how perfect Nantucket would be. Grey shuttered houses, creeping rose vines, white picket fences. It was almost more than my nautical New England loving heart could handle. If you are a fan of history, timeless style and that welcoming charm New England is famous for, then Nantucket needs to be at the top of your travel list.
