Six months after their maternity session and several months into our new world of 2020, I was fortunate to reconnect with this beautiful family to help them celebrate the arrival of their baby girl.

Over three years ago this darling family was introduced to me by a friend and I am so thankful that our paths have crossed. Six months, one year, two year, maternity and now newborn session, they have entrusted me with some of their most precious moments as a family and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to document it all.

Beautiful Nour was born earlier this spring and on a warm April afternoon I had the pleasure of capturing her newborn session just days after entering the world. Her parents Younes & Alyssa were married two short years ago, you can view their gorgeous wedding here. Big brother excitedly bounced from room to room occasionally stopping to check in on his brand new sister who stayed happily wrapped up in Mom’s arms.

The Best of 2016 : Portraits

Yesterday I kicked off the Best of 2016 series with my favorite floral designs of the year. Today I'm continuing the series with my favorite portrait images of 2016!! My portrait work has slowly evolved over the years as past clients have begun to grow their families and celebrate anniversaries. What started as something I did on the side of weddings, has developed into an integral part of my business.

Having the opportunity to be invited into the homes and lives of my clients to capture the big and small moments of life is an incredible honor and I deeply value the relationships that have been cultivated as a result. My portrait work has become something incredibly meaningful to me and I hope it has brought great joy to the clients who have trusted me to capture their lives.
