Editorial Maternity Session at the Ames Studio

Getting to spend time in a studio setting this year has filled my creative cup more than I thought possible. Working with clients who have a vision and appreciation for studio work is the cherry on top. I was thrilled to collaborate once again with Hannah, a long time client, to celebrate her pregnancy and her eager anticipation to welcome their baby girl into the world.

This studio maternity session re-ignited in me my love for studio photography. It has been quite some time since I had the opportunity work in a studio as most of my creative work is done on location. Having the creative freedom to experiment with a trusting client was a real treat for me as an artist. She trusted in my vision and as a result we were able to create some magic together.

I hope that this session is just the start of my studio magic to come - and I am grateful for my clients who take chances right alongside me.

North Shore Maternity Portraits at Appleton Farms

With a due date around Halloween, Alissa knew that she wanted a maternity session that celebrated all fall has to offer in New England. The open fields of the Appleton Grass Rides were the perfect location to showcase off things fall. The evening was filled with soft golden light as dog walkers and horse riders enjoyed one of the last warm evenings of the season, newly fallen leaves crunching underneath. A golden hue of yellow and orange filtered through the tress - a photographer’s dream. Gentle, intimate, relaxed, portraits to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their baby girl.

Destination Coastal Maternity Portraits on Cape Cod

Having grown up on Cape Cod and recently moved back to the area, Elba & Brandon were excited to share Mayflower Beach with me, one of their favorite places on Cape Cod. To celebrate the upcoming arrival of their baby boy we captured a fun and relaxed destination portrait session on the beach, the perfect setting for this fun and laid back couple. Still early in the season, we had the beach near all to ourselves making for a beautiful backdrop. It was a thrill to reconnect with Elba & Brandon and help them celebrate this beautiful season of life!
