Private Estate Wedding on Boston's North Shore

It’s always a treat to photograph a wedding on my “home turf”, here on the historic North Shore of Massachusetts. It’s even more exciting to work with couples who also share a special connection to this coastal part of the state. When Cari & Cam contacted me to share details about their family centered wedding celebration hosted at a gorgeous private estate here on the North Shore I was thrilled. Full of charm and beautifully decorated, the expansive property offered a unique experience to Cari & Cam’s guests, many who were traveling from across the country to celebrate with the couple.

Expertly designing and executing the day was the team behind Prepped and Primped. Hues of creams, blues and greens accented the lush garden landscape of the estate. Guests danced the night away under a clear tent with perfect views of the starry sky above. Cari & Cam made their grand exit in a family friend’s vintage convertible - it was truly a night to remember!

North Shore Maternity Portraits at Appleton Farms

With a due date around Halloween, Alissa knew that she wanted a maternity session that celebrated all fall has to offer in New England. The open fields of the Appleton Grass Rides were the perfect location to showcase off things fall. The evening was filled with soft golden light as dog walkers and horse riders enjoyed one of the last warm evenings of the season, newly fallen leaves crunching underneath. A golden hue of yellow and orange filtered through the tress - a photographer’s dream. Gentle, intimate, relaxed, portraits to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their baby girl.

Connemara House Wedding

Tucked away in the rolling farmlands on the North Shore of Boston sits Connemara House. Driving up to the main estate feels like stepping back in time and a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This privacy and tranquility of Connemara House is what just what drew Mary and Ty to select the estate to host their wedding. 

Taking full advantage of the sprawling grounds, Mary & Ty hosted their entire celebration from start to finish at Connemara - both getting ready in the main house, choosing their first look among the gardens and dancing the night away under a sailcloth tent. 

Relaxed elegance was the goal. With delicate floral arrangements, custom sips from Cisco Brewery and casual seating for guests along the lawns - it was exactly what Mary & Ty envisioned for the start of their new adventure as husband and wife.

Beauport Hotel Wedding

Christie & Crittie were one of the many couples who found themselves rethinking their wedding plans when the pandemic hit in 2020. Instead of cancelling all together they decided to host a micro wedding at Misselwood in the fall of 2002, pushing off the party at the Beauport Hotel until the following September.

While their path to the wedding day might have taken a few turns they did not expect, each event was uniquely special and meaningful to Christie and Crittie. When it was time for the big party last fall, they were ready to get the party started! And we were thrilled to capture each epic moment!
