Spring Engagement Session in Downtown Boston

On a beautiful spring evening I met with Jennifer and Nate on Boston's Harbor front just as the sun began to dip near the horizon. Jennifer and Nate met at Boston College and they wanted their engagement session to reflect their love for the city and the place they fell in love. The evening offered candy colored skies and sweeping views of the harbor. I loved having the opportunity to get to know Jennifer and Nate and I can't wait for their wedding this fall - enjoy a few of my favorite images!!

Engagement Session at Castle Island

It seems like Kerin and I have been trying to plan this engagement session forever. And each time it seemed like Mother Nature wanted to work against us. But not last week!! Despite a forecast for rain and thunderstorms, Boston graced us with the most beautiful of evenings, perfect for Kerin & Ryan's engagement session at Castle Island. When we arrived we almost couldn't believe that the session was going to actually happen!!

And what a great evening we had! As the sun began to dip into the horizon, we walked through the park, enjoyed the view of Boston Harbor and cooled off with a lovely ocean breeze. Even better, I got to spend quality time with this lovely couple, the epitome of laid back, confident and charismatic. Kerin & Ryan will be trying the knot in Newport later this fall and I just know their wedding will be an epic celebration!!

Boston Harbor Elopement

Weddings come in all shape and sizes. And while most of my weekends are filled with beautiful and elaborate affairs, occasionally I'll have the pleasure of witnessing something a bit more intimate. Just the couple, their closest family and friends, their vows -- and that's just what happened when Beca and Brian tied the knot earlier this month in Boston.

Brian and Beca met and fell in love in Boston and so fittingly they chose to marry in the Seaport District in the shadow of the city's beautiful skyline. Brian's dear friend, former Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis, officiated while the couple's closest family and friends supported the couple. It was a beautiful moment to witness and a pleasure to be a part of such a special day for them.

I met up with Brian and Beca at the Boston Harbor Hotel to meander the Seaport area for portraits before heading over to the Moakley Superior Courthouse for their elopement ceremony. It was a glorious fall day in the city and it made for the perfect backdrop for this intimate elopement. So much love to you two, Brian and Beca!! Congratulations!!

Exchange Conference Center Wedding | Rob & Rachel

I'm back! It's been about two weeks since I've written on the blog and I'm so excited to start things back off right with a beautiful Boston waterfront wedding! Rachel and Rob celebrated the holiday weekend with family and friends at the Boston Exchange Conference Center following a beautiful ceremony at St. Brigid's in South Boston.

It was a home town affair for these two who met, fell in love and live in Boston. It was important to the couple to make sure that Boston was a large part of their day from the location to the ceremony down to their adorable invitations. Each detail a reflection of their personalities and relationship.

What a joy it is to document such special days for happy couples in love. I simply adored being a part of Rachel and Rob's wedding (and witnessing Rob's infamous dance moves that won over Rachel's heart;)). Thank you Rachel and Rob, you are the reason why I love what I do. And while I know this post is weeks late, trust me it's worth it! Enjoy!!
