Private Estate Wedding in South Dartmouth with

South Dartmouth, Salter’s Point in particular, holds a dear place in Cat’s heart. After all, this special slice of coastal Massachusetts has been in her family for over 3 generations and has become an incredibly important part of her family’s history - and now with Tommy.

When it came time to select the location for their wedding day it was an easy choice to choose Salter’s Point. An intimate ceremony at a family church, cocktail hour on the lawn overlooking Buzzards Bay, an epic night of dancing under the stars. Their weekend was thoughtfully planned to share in all that Salter’s Point has to offer.

Cat and Tommy made it a point to carve out time on their wedding day to head to the water at sun down. While it was slightly out of the way, they knew that images at golden hour, were important and worth the time. With the harbor and sneak peek at their reception sight behind them, those images reflected everything about the wedding celebration all that makes this place special to them.

Hyannisport Club Wedding

Hayley & James had one of those wedding days that dreams are made of. It was the perfect day on the Cape with clear blue skies, puffy white clouds, exactly what they had dreamed of when they chose a summer wedding on Cape Cod at the Hyannisport Club. The day was perfectly accented with a classic palette of creams and dusty blues and subtle nods to the coastal location of their wedding.

Fall Wedding at the Nashoba Valley Winery

Taryn and Jim had one of the most spectacular fall days...ever. New England has this funny of way of being unpredictable and you never quite know what kind of weather you'll get for your wedding day. Taryn and Jim hit the jackpot of weather with clear blue skies, a warm fall October sun and some of the prettiest foliage we've seen all season. It was everything they could have hoped for in their fall wedding at the Nashoba Valley Winery!!

Taryn and Jim held an intimate celebration for their closest family and friends amongst the grape vines and overlooking the valley. Taryn accented the day with hues of plum and purple -- the perfect compliment to their wedding venue. But what made their day truly special were the people that they were surrounded by - people who love this couple deeply. I hope that Jim and Taryn tangibly felt that support throughout their day. It's a testament to how kind, generous and loving Taryn and Jim are.

Taryn & Jim, thank you for inviting us to be part of your day!! Enjoy some of my favorite images!!

Backyard Summer Wedding in New England

Though Stephanie and Rick went to the same high school, it took a chance meeting years later through friends for a real introduction. With the help of friends and Rick's sister the two connected and the rest is history!

This past weekend they celebrated under the stars with close family and friends in a beautiful backyard wedding. The couple chose the home of Stephanie's grandparents, where she grew up and where she has many fond memories. When it came time to plan their wedding day, Stephanie and Rick knew that this house was the perfect location.

Tucked away down a winding dirt road on Baddacook Pond in Groton, the property felt like a hidden oasis. Cocktail hour was hosted out front with drinks, appetizers and lawn games. The reception was hosted out back under a sail cloth tent and sweeping views of the property and adjacent pond. Beth of Fetching Events was on hand to ensure that the day flowed smoothly and everything came together perfectly.

The homey feeling of the property, the sweeping views and the personal connection that Stephanie and Rick had to the place and their families truly made the night feel magical!!  -- enjoy some of my favorite images!!

Mike & Monica's Post Office Square and Fenway Park Engagement

To sign Mike and Monica's guestbook and to be notified when their images are online, click here.

Monica is a fiesty Colombian who keeps Mike on his toes. But that's one of the reasons why he loves her. Her zest for life brings out the best in Mike and when they are together, he lights up. They balance each other out, complimenting another in their weaknesses and strengths. Most importantly they like to have fun and they like to make each other laugh. And after all is said and done, that's what helps keep a relationship going strong!

My husband and I have known Mike and Monica for several years now, and have had the joy of watching their journey towards marriage. Being able to witness the beginning stages of their relationship till now as they move into the next stage of their life, has been so much fun. I can't wait to see what this next part of life has in store for these two:) This past weekend the four of us spent the afternoon wandering the neighborhood where Mike works, with a stop at Fenway Park, for their engagement session. And despite the frigid temperatures those smiles never left their faces, they were just happy to be with each other! Please enjoy Mike and Monica's very Boston engagement session, and make sure to leave them some love below:)!

The image below was processed with the new VSCO presets for Lightroom. Make sure to check in next week as I'll be reviewing them:)!

Mark and Cynthia's Wedding at Saint Catherine of Siena of Norwood and the Hilton Boston/Dedham Hotel

Cyn was a calm and beautiful bride the day of her wedding. As if it was just another day, Cynthia made her away around the various rooms of the hotel where she was getting ready. But underneath, you could just tell that she was over flowing with happiness. She couldn't wait to become a Mrs. And really isn't that the way a bride should be on her wedding day?! We met the gentlemen at the church where they helped the guests to their seats and Mark escorted his proud mom down the aisle. And if on dramatic cue, Cynthia made her entrance to the church, side by side with her proud father. It was a beautiful ceremony, filled with friends and family all taking part. In the church where she grew up, Cynthia and Mark began a new chapter of their lives, together.

Mark and Cynthia's wedding day was one filled with memories they'll cherish for the rest of their lives. From the moments just before walking down the aisle, to heart felt toasts from long time friends, to the Father of the Bride shuffling his way across the dance floor, it was a day and night to be remembered. For a lifetime.

I love this great story telling image my second photographer, Coco captured right before Cyn walked down the aisle:)
